Increasing efficiency by pooling competencies

Energy trading
We are the MVV Energie Group's gateway to the spot and futures markets. We procure and market all customary trading products, such as electricity, gas, and financial coal and oil products, both on the exchange and in off-market (OTC) trading. We also draw on our trading competence to trade in emission rights and green electricity products. Our specialists liaise closely to react rapidly to our customers' individual needs.

Portfolio management
Our shareholders have heterogeneous energy procurement rights and electricity, coal and gas sales contracts. Portfolio management's task is therefore to develop innovative solutions for these customers. We thus not only optimise the various commodity positions and assets, but also centrally manage and minimise the related risk for the MVV Energie Group as a whole.
