Weekly emissions statistics for MVV Umwelt power plants
To limit emissions of air pollutants arising upon the incineration of waste and biomass, very strict standards and requirements are in place across Europe.
It goes without saying that we comply with these standards at our plants in Mannheim, Leuna and Königs Wusterhausen. These modern plants fall short of the permitted volume of emissions, in some cases significantly so, for all pollutant categories relevant to their practical operations.
By voluntarily publishing our weekly emission statistics, we enable interested parties to inform themselves without delay about the environmental friendliness of our plants. These statistics enable our average daily figures to be compared directly with statutory threshold values, as well as with threshold values specifically applicable to the individual plants.
Emission statistics pursuant to § 18 of the 17th Federal Immissions Protection Ordinance
MVV Umwelt informs the general public about the extensive measurement data at its energy from waste and biomass plants and demonstrates how well its operations comply with air pollution threshold values and the relevant incineration conditions. Here, the operating emission statistics at our plants in recent years are compared with the respective threshold values:
