Dr. Johannes Werhahn to be new Executive Board Sales Director at MVV Energie AG

MVV has appointed a new Sales Director to its Executive Board: Dr. Johannes Werhahn (44) will succeed Ralf Klöpfer as of 1 January 2026. Ralf Klöpfer announced in February 2025 that he would stand down from his Executive Board position at his own request at the end of the year.

Dr. Johannes Werhahn held various management positions at E.ON for nine years, including managing Strategic Procurement for all grid companies and heading the Energy Efficiency and Virtual Power Plant business fields in the International Wholesale Solutions business. From 2021, he worked as Managing Director at SPIE Energy Solutions GmbH, where he was responsible for the Energy Efficiency and Sustainability business for industrial customers and complex properties at SPIE Germany & Central Europe. Since 2023, he has been one of two Managing Directors at MVV Enamic GmbH, a subsidiary of MVV Energie AG.
