MVV’s Personnel Director Verena Amann appointed for a further five years
The appointment of Verena Amann to the Executive Board of MVV, the Mannheim-based energy company, has been extended for a further five-year period – from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2027 – in line with a resolution already adopted by the Supervisory Board at its meeting on 24 September 2021.
Verena Amann has been a member of the Executive Board at MVV Energie AG for three years and is responsible for the Personnel division. “As Personnel Director, Verena Amann is promoting MVV’s innovative work culture with key focuses on digitalisation and diversity at the company. At the same time, she is consistently enhancing MVV’s reputation as a major employer in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and at MVV’s locations in Germany and abroad”, commented Dr. Peter Kurz, Chairman of MVV’s Supervisory Board.
MVV attaches great priority to attracting qualified specialists. Together with MVV’s current workforce, these are needed to press ahead with the energy turnaround and implement the Mannheim Model, with which the energy company intends to become climate neutral by 2040 and climate positive from then on.
