MVV Energie AG acquires 50.1 percent of Juwi AG
In expanding renewable energies MVV Energie AG aims to forge a close partnership with Juwi AG (Wörrstadt/Rheinland-Pfalz). By participating in a capital increase at Juwi AG, MVV Energie AG is set to take over a 50.1 percent stake in the German renewable energies market leader in project development. The Supervisory Board of MVV Energie AG approved this undertaking. Scheduled for completion by the end of the year, the transaction is conditional on successful implementation of the financing concept with participation of the financing parties involved, as well as on approval by the Federal Cartel Office.
