Personal data

Personal data involves information about your personal and material circumstances. It includes disclosures such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. To use our website, however, it is generally not necessary for you to reveal any personal data.

When you visit our website, the following data, for example, is stored anonymously: the name of your internet provider, number of visits to our website in the course of the day and the week, number of visits per page, average time spent on each page, number of feedbacks, the website from which you visited us and your abridged IP address.

This information is not used to compile any personal user profiles.

Should you order any services from our company, we generally only collect the data required to perform these services (e.g. your name and address). Any additional data we request from you is provided on a voluntary basis. Your personal data is processed solely for the purpose of providing the services you have requested and to safeguard our own legitimate business interests.

Functional purpose of personal data

The personal data you provide is generally used to answer your enquiries, process your orders or provide you with access to specific information or offers. To cultivate customer relationships, it may also be necessary for us or a service company we commission for this purpose to use this personal data to keep you informed of product offers or to perform online surveys to enable us to execute our customers’ orders or meet their requirements more closely.

We of course also respect any wish on your part for your personal data not to be used to support our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing or market research purposes). We will neither sell your personal data to third parties nor otherwise market it.

Specific functional use of personal data

We will collect, process and use the data you make available online solely for the purposes you have communicated. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.

We only collect personal data and communicate such to government institutions and authorities entitled to receive such information within the relevant legal framework or when we are obliged by court order to do so. Use of cookies

Our websites make use of cookies. Cookies are small text files stored locally in the temporary memory of the site visitor’s internet browser. They are used, for example, to enhance the user-friendliness of websites and enable us to recognise your internet browser.

You may accept or reject the use of cookies. To reject the use of cookies you may have to change your browser settings. If you reject the use of cookies, we will not track your visit to our website. However, this may mean that you are only able to draw on the services available on our websites to a limited extent.

Use-based online advertising: Google Adwords Conversion/ Google Dynamic Remarketing

Our website makes use of Google Adwords Conversion (further information at: http://bit.ly/1HZJvvQ) and Google Dynamic Remarketing (further information at: http://bit.ly/1JT8n5o). These tools are used to optimise the advertising shown on our website. To make sure that the advertising shown corresponds to your areas of interest rather than being random, your use of our website is recorded anonymously by means of cookies. Information is collected, for example, about your surfing patterns and about the subpages you visit on our website.

You are of course free to object to the use of cookies by, for example, changing your browser settings.

Use of Google Universal Analytics

On our website we make use of the Google Universal Analytics web analysis service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Universal Analytics works with a specific form of cookies that make it possible to analyse your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We would point out that on our website Google Universal Analytics has been extended to include the “gat._anonymizeIp();” code to ensure that IP addresses are recorded in anonymised form (so-called IP masking). IP anonymization on our website means that your IP address is abbreviated by Google inside EU territory or the contract states of the European Economic Community. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.

Google uses information on our behalf to evaluate your use of this website, to compile reports on website activities and to perform other services relating to the use of this website and the internet for the website operator. The IP address transferred from your browser by Google Universal Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

You can find further information about the terms of use and data protection in connection with Google Universal Analytics at http://www.google.com/analytics-/terms/de.html or at http://www.google.com/intl/de/-analytics/privacyoverview.html

Google Tag Manager

On our website we make use of Google Tag Manager. This is an application offered by Google Inc. that enables companies to manage website tags via a user interface. Tags are small code elements on websites that serve, for example, to measure traffic and visitor behaviour on websites and thus to optimise the websites. The Google Tag Manager application itself is a cookie-free domain that does not collect any personal data. The application triggers other tags that may themselves collect data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you do not want your visit to our website to be recorded by Google Tag Manager, you can disable this application on domain or cookie level. This disables all tracking tags implemented via Google Tag Manager. Click here to be excluded from the detection on the Google Tag Manager.

You can find further information about Google Tag Manager at: http://www.google.de/tagmanager/

etracker GmbH

To permanently optimise the content and design of our websites and thus enhance their attractiveness, also for marketing purposes, non-personal data is collected and stored using technologies from etracker GmbH (www.etracker.com) at specified intervals (e.g. name of your internet provider, number of visits to our websites in the course of the day or week, number of visits per page, average time spent on each page, number of feedbacks, the website from which you visited us and your abridged IP address). This data may be used to compile user profiles under pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose.

Unless the party has provided specific explicit consent, the data collected with etracker technologies is not used to identify the site visitor in person and is not combined with any personal data of the bearer of the pseudonym. Internet users may at any time object to the future collection and storage of their data: exercise right of objection.

Use of sharing functions in social media networks

You have the option of sharing the contents of our websites with others via social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and XING). To protect your privacy, we use the so-called Shariff solution. Unlike with customary social plugins, this prevents data being transferred to social media networks merely by loading our websites. A direct connection between you and the respective network is only established once you have logged into the social media network and clicked on the corresponding “Share” button.

By clicking on the “Share” button, you consent to a connection being established by your internet browser to the servers of the respective social media network and to user data being transferred to the respective operator of the social media network. We have no influence on the nature and scope of the data thereby transferred or on its use by the respective social media network.

You can find information about the nature of the data collected and the uses to which it is put in the data protection regulations of the respective social media network:
