We are committed to providing a reliable and economical supply of energy to our industrial, commercial and private household customers and are active in all stages of the energy value chain: from energy generation, energy trading and energy distribution to operating distribution grids through to our sales activities and environmental energy and energy-related service businesses. We are investing in making our grids and generation plants fit for the future.
MVV is a pioneer of the energy transition and is pursuing the goal of becoming #climatepositive. To this end, we are consistently reducing our carbon footprint and plan to permanently withdraw both fossil and biogenic CO₂ from the atmosphere. That will enable us in future to remove more CO2 from the atmosphere than we ourselves cause and then reach negative emissions. With our Mannheim Model, we are building on the heat and electricity transitions and offering innovative energy solutions to support our customers in cutting their own emissions.
