Visits and Education

Our local community is important to the team here at MVV. We welcome members of the community, interested groups, nurseries, primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities to visit the facility, where they can have a tour and learn about the Energy from Waste process.

We are also committed to environmental and Science Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) engagement. Our aim is to inspire the next generation by delivering quality outreach activities. The focus of these activities is on waste minimisation and the waste hierarchy (reduce, reuse, recycle), as well as the circular economy, careers and STEM opportunities.
